Morgan State Graduate Student Association Event on November 13th!

Will you be attending the national APA Conference in April? Will you be hoping to get some financial support from Morgan State’s Graduate Student Association (MSGSA)? If so, keep in mind that you’re required to attend one community event, one social event, and one academic event, all hosted by MSGSA, in order to be eligible for their MSGSA funds (up to $500).

Fortunately, there is one event coming up in November. Check it out!

The Morgan State Graduate Student Association (MSGSA) is hosting a Professional Development Workshop titled “What You Need to Know to Get Your Ph.D.”

The workshop is FREE and will be facilitated by Dr. Jonathan Farley Professor Department of Mathematics, MSU.  This event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 6pm-7pm in Banneker room 112.

Maybe I’ll see you there?

October is National Community Planning Month!

Each year APA, its members, chapters, divisions, and professional institute sponsor National Community Planning Month (NCPM) to raise the visibility of the important role of planners and planning in communities across the U.S.

Help elevate the role of planning in your community. Host a planning department or planning commission open house, talk to kids in schools about a career in planning, present a library display about planning and planners, sponsor a neighborhood tour to highlight how planning helps the community.

Learn more about NCPM at the APA website!
